Contest & For Purpose Designs

While the Gallery of Artwork shows off the stuff that I did for fun, these designs were either a contest entry, on-line project, or had a heartflet meaning.

Canyon Duststorm

Another Renderosity.com contest. In this one, you had to show the sudden transition between two extremes. I chose clear vs. stormy weather.

Quilt Horse

A hand drawn on the computer horse with two of my favorite quotes about what it means to be an artist. It ended up as part of a quilt done by an online community that I frequent.

Terry's Wolf

An image created to honor the memory of an on-line friend. The picture represents the strong feeling that I recieved about his personality every time I read one of his posts.

Dragon*Con 2002 Unicorn

Renderosity.com held a contest to commemorate their first appearance at Dragon*Con in 2002. The theme was anything related to science fiction and fantasy, excluding fan art. I chose the unicorn head because I love to draw horse heads and I wanted something that looked drawn / painted, even though it was done completely on the computer.
